“Far from being another band of Manchester based floppy-haired indie chancers, this titanic four-piece are producing some visceral black metal that’s making waves in the north of England. This noisy quartet combine the bleak atmospherics of the Norwegian scene coupled with a nod in the direction of celebrated noise artists Swans.
Their three track demo shows an act that have dispensed with esoteric influences to create music for a desolate world. Numbers like the brutal ‘Last Days’ show you don’t need corpse paint to create something truly disturbing. The music has a rawness and unrefined nature to it which is an antidote to the more polished acts which fall under the black metal banner.”
